The Tri-County Republican Women’s Club is pleased to announce
a distinguished speaker for May
meeting. Cheryl
E. Johnson, Galveston County Tax Assessor Collector, will speak on “Working Together
as Republican Women.”
Ms. Johnson was elected to office in 2004 and re-elected in 2008. She has served two terms on the Clear
Creek ISD board and nine years as a Director of the Galveston Central Appraisal
District Board. Additionally, she has served on several statewide legislative
advisory committees both in her capacity as a school board member and as county
tax assessor collector.
