Well,
it turns out that Pete Olson will not be able to speak at our May meeting,
due to restrictions of the McCain-Feingold bill. His team checked with
their ethics expert, and they were advised that Pete shouldn’t
speak to our group. However, there is a good possibility that he will
be there as a guest.
So,

Brian
Carl, Field Director of the Greater Houston and East Texas “Victory
’08” Project, to Speak at the Tri-County Republican Women’s
Luncheon May 13
Pearland,
TX – The Tri County Republican Women are pleased to announce their
May 13 speaker, Brian Carl, Field Director of the Greater Houston and
East Texas Republican Victory ’08 Project, who will be speaking
on “Republican Perspectives for November 08.”
Before
moving to the Harris County GOP Headquarters in Houston to work for
the Victory ’08 Project, Brian served as the East Texas Regional
Director for the Republican Party of Texas. Previously, he worked for
Congressman Louie Gohmert as a Senior Legislative Assistant in Washington,
D.C. and as Organizational Director to the Gohmert-for-Congress Campaign.
Brian holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas
at Austin and was born in Houston.
The
Tri-County Republican Women’s Club meeting is held at the Golfcrest
Country Club, 2509 Country Club Dr, Pearland. Networking begins at 10:30
a.m; business and speaker at 11:00. Lunch will follow. Cost for lunch
