NEXT MEETING: November 10, 2009

The Tri-County Republican Women’s Club is pleased to announce a distinguished speaker for their November 10, 2009 meeting. 

Justice Jeff Brown of the 14^th Court of Appeals and candidate for the Texas Supreme Court, will speak on the Constitution & the Rule of Law: The importance of Judicial Conservatism in our State Courts.  

After just a year on the court of appeals, he was voted as the most outstanding appellate judge in the Houston Bar Association’s judicial-evaluation poll.

Before taking the appellate bench, Justice Brown served for six years as judge of the 55th District Court in Harris County, where he was consistently among the highest ranked judges in the bar poll.

The Tri-County Republican Women’s Club meeting is held at the Golfcrest Country Club, 2509 Country Club Dr, Pearland. Networking begins at 10:30 a.m; business and speaker at 11:00. Lunch will follow. Cost for lunch is $12.
